Interesting Nepali Grammar
Welcome to Nepali101! In this post you will learn some interesting grammar in the Nepali language. Different Languages place words in different ways. The English language places them subject, verb, object. It is also called SVO. SVO is the most popular grammar syntax. Nepali use subject, object, verb.. This is also called SOV.SOV is the second most popular syntax. In the sentence "I am trying to learn Nepali" the syntax is SVO. The same sentence in SOV would be "Ma Nepali sikhay prayash gardai chu". Another interesting fact is that there is a masculine and feminine in Nepali. If a word ends in "O" you change it to "i" if masculine or "A" if feminine. Also if you say "what" add the suffix lai. also with "When". if you want to show Origin add "bata".
